Halloran Centre
Built to house the Orpheum Theatre Group’s expanding education and entertainment offerings, the Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education made its debut in 2015. The 39,000 square-foot facility is a contemporary complement to its historic neighbor, providing unique experiences for audiences and artists of all ages. It’s a place where the modern architecture represents the innovative programs happening inside.
Making a impact
The Halloran Centre supports the Mid-South's cultural tapestry through a growing number of education and community programs. From arts access to creative exploration, from collaboration to healing and beyond, these programs use the arts to celebrate individuality and build community.
Halloran Centre Presents offers music, magic, mystery, and more. From local artists to internationally renowned icons, we invite you to enjoy unforgettable evenings of multi-genre, multi-lingual, and multi-generational entertainment.

Reception Hall
The Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education is named for former Orpheum Theatre Group President, Pat Halloran, who led the organization for 35 years.
The auditorium is equipped with the Meyer Constellation Sound System, creating among the most advanced listening experiences in Memphis.
The Centre’s rehearsal hall is the same size as the Orpheum stage, allowing touring casts and productions like High School Musical Theatre Musical Awards the space they need to practice their Orpheum performances.
The gentle curve of the Gerber Taylor Capital Advisors Lobby is designed as a nod to the neighboring Mississippi River.
The Halloran Centre’s Plaza of Stars was unveiled in July of 2023 with 30 stars in the inaugural class of honorees, each of whom have performed on the Halloran Centre stage.
With an auditorium of 361 seats guests feel like they are a part of the action, connecting with renowned performers who are no more than 60 feet away.
