Student Matinee Series | Orpheum Theatre Memphis

Student Matinee Series Field Trips

Classrooms from throughout the Mid-South are invited to daytime performances of specially curated educational shows with curriculum tie-ins. Since 2002, the Orpheum Theatre Group’s Student Matinee Series has inspired thousands of Mid-South students to explore the boundless possibilities of imagination. We bring high-quality theatre for young audiences from around the world to the Orpheum Theatre and Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education to educate and entertain students ranging from Pre-K through high school. Supplemental materials are available to help instructors connect the stage with the classroom curriculum. Grants are available to broaden school access.
