VOICE POWER! is a high-energy participatory performance where critically acclaimed actor/poet/activist Darian Dauchan guides young audiences on a vocal odyssey through rhymes, beatboxing, live looping, and acapella melodies in search of one of civilization’s most valuable treasures — the power of the voice!

VOICE POWER! was originally commissioned by an organization called Arts for All that provides access to the arts and artistic programming to communities in the New York City area who face socioeconomic, physical, or emotional barriers to exploring the arts. The show toured to all five boroughs reaching over 2,500 students and will bring the same dynamic experience to young people in the Mid-South.

VOICE POWER! is written and performed by Darian Dauchan and directed by Jennifer McGrath, the Orpheum Theatre Group's Vice President of Education.
