We look forward to finding a new date for Mark Edgar Stuart, Aaron James, Alex da Ponte, Savannah Brister, and Patrick O’Connor to perform in the Halloran Centre.

Mark and his musical guests take audiences on a journey behind the music, sharing personal stories and introducing exciting new works in the casual, cozy setting of the Halloran Centre Lounge.
This innovative, immersive experience lifts the veil on Memphis’ longstanding songwriting tradition for music fans of all genres to enjoy.
Each Songwriters Series performance features three of Memphis’ own seasoned musicians and a finalist from the 2019 Songwriter Showdown Finals presented by the Memphis Songwriter Association. The Songwriters Series will culminate on April 23 with the 2020 Songwriter Showdown, the annual competition finale.
Host Mark Edgar Stuart has toured with Grammy winner Alvin Youngblood Hart, Jack Oblivian, John Paul Keith and was the go-to bass player for an elite group of record producers and artists. In 2010, he put down his bass, picked up a guitar and started writing songs. His debut CD, Blues for Lou, earned him “Record Of The Year” by the Memphis Flyer.
