The Orpheum’s Technical and Design Theatre Intensive (TDTI) is a week long program focusing on what goes on behind the scenes in costumes, lighting, scenery, sound, stage management, hair and makeup, and more! The program is designed for students with some prior knowledge or experience in one or more of these areas or for someone who is deeply passionate about backstage production work. Participants will explore the collaborative process for designers and technicians and work together to create a final group project.
An application with submission materials is required to be accepted to the program and a limited number of scholarships are available to applicants who meet the qualifications.
A Virtual Musical Theatre Intensive will be held July 27-31.
